What to bring to a Quarry Bay calculation session
A short packing list so the seventy-five minutes stay on math instead of missing files.
Sessions run on a timer because the calculator room is booked in blocks. Arriving without the quote pack wastes the first fifteen minutes.
Bring:
- Counterparty quote as PDF or a clear screenshot sequence with timestamps
- Intended notional and the unit (coins, contracts, or fiat face)
- Settlement currency and any internal FX convention notes
- A second source if you want a spread comparison
Optional but useful: a redacted prior ticket in the same pair, especially for uncommon markets. We use it only to check unit conventions, not to invent a market history.
Leave behind: requests to “just execute at the mid.” We do not place trades. If you need execution, speak with your broker; then return for a conversion sheet if ops still wants an independent calculation.
